EFryNB Goldrush Draw Rules.

Rules. The Fine Print.

The information below explains how the EFryNB 50/50 Gold Rush works, including who can play, how entries are handled, and how winners are selected and paid.

We believe in transparency and fairness, and these rules are designed to protect both players and the integrity of the draw.

Gold Rush Rules and Regulations

Licensed and regulated under New Brunswick gaming and lottery regulations.

Eligibility

  • Players must be 19 years of age or older at the time of registration.

  • Players must be legal residents of Canada, reside in the province of New Brunswick and meet all eligibility requirements outlined in the official rules.

  • EFryNB Staff and residents are not permitted to play.

Registration & Participation

  • Participation in the EFryNB 50/50 Gold Rush is completed online only through the official website registration process.

  • Players must complete the online registration form and provide accurate contact information.

  • Information collected during registration is securely stored and used solely for the administration of the draw.

  • Each registered entry is associated with a unique Gold Rush number assigned by the EFryNB 50/50 Gold Rush team.

  • Players may register for multiple Gold Rush numbers, with each number requiring a separate registration.

  • To be eligible for an upcoming draw, new registrations must be completed by 11:00 AM (Atlantic Time) on the Thursday prior to the scheduled draw date. Registrations received after this time will be entered into the following draw.

Payment & Entry Status

  • The cost to participate is $4.00 per Gold Rush number per draw.

  • Players may pre-pay for multiple draws by selecting available play periods (e.g. 3, 6, or 12 months).

  • Registration and payment must be completed in accordance with the official deadlines outlined in the rules to be eligible for a given draw.

  • Only paid entries are eligible to win.

  • Any payment amounts not evenly divisible by $4.00 may be treated as a donation to support EFryNB programs.

Draw & Jackpot

  • All times referenced are Atlantic Time (AT).
  • One Gold Rush number is drawn each draw.

  • Draws take place every two weeks according to the official EFryNB 50/50 Gold Rush schedule.
  • If the selected number is associated with a paid entry, it is declared a Winning Entry, and the winner receives 50% of that draw’s jackpot.

  • If the selected number is not paid or otherwise ineligible, the draw is treated as a non-winner, and the jackpot rolls over to the following draw.

  • Draws are conducted by authorized EFryNB staff using approved draw procedures.

Winner Notification & Claiming Prizes

  • Winners will be contacted using the contact information provided during registration.

  • Players do not need to be present at the time of the draw to win.

  • Winners have 90 days from the draw date to claim their prize.

  • Valid government-issued photo identification may be required to claim winnings.

  • Winnings are typically issued via e-transfer. If e-transfer is not possible, EFryNB may issue payment via cheque.

Publicity & Promotion

  • By participating, winners consent to the use of their name, winning amount, and/or photograph for promotional and advertising purposes related to the EFryNB 50/50 Gold Rush, unless otherwise prohibited by law.

Player Responsibility & Updates

  • It is the player’s responsibility to ensure their registration information remains accurate and up to date.

  • Changes to contact details should be communicated promptly to avoid delays in prize notification.

Cancellation & Removal

  • Players may request the removal of their Gold Rush number from future draws by submitting a written request via email after the minimum participation period outlined in the rules.

  • Once removed, a Gold Rush number may be reassigned.

  • The EfryNB Gold Rush 50/50 team will remove numbers from the draw pool that have been inactive for an extended period, no longer than 1 year. This task will be done monthly.

Exceptional Circumstances

  • EFryNB reserves the right to treat any draw affected by technical issues, payment discrepancies, or eligibility concerns as a non-winner, with funds rolling over to the next draw.

  • All decisions made by the EFryNB 50/50 Gold Rush team are final.

Estate & Special Circumstances

  • In the event that a registered player is deceased and their paid Gold Rush number is drawn as a winner, the prize will be awarded to the player’s estate, subject to verification and applicable laws.
